Subhan Ahmad is one of Pakistan’s most seasoned sports administrators with leadership experience in the International Cricket Council, Pakistan Cricket Board, International League T20, and Emirates Cricket Board.

Subhan is a multi-functional leader with experience as Chief Operating Officer Pakistan Cricket Board from 2010 to 2019.

He has also served on the ICC Chief Executives’ Committee from 2010 to 2018, the Asian Cricket Council Chief Executives’ Committee from 2010 to 2018, as Chairman of all Organizing Committees for international home series between 2014 and 2019 and all PSL events held in Pakistan from 2016 to 2019, and as member of all Bid/Tender Committees for sale of bilateral series television broadcasting rights between 2010 and 2019.

Subhan played a pivotal role in the award of hosting rights for the 2011 ICC Cricket World Cup to India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh.

In his most recent role as Advisor Emirates Cricket Board and Chief Operating ILT20, Subhan has played a pivotal role in setting up a six-team international franchise tournament in the UAE as well as organizing multiple international cricket tournaments such as the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2021, PSL 2021, and IPL 2021 in the UAE
